I’ve been searching for teacher salary scales for the past three days with little luck. Anyone have any tips on acquiring salary scales from different school districts?

Better yet, what I am really looking for are salary norms for teaching in private schools in different parts of the Northeast. In this endeavor, I am having an even worse time.

Please help! Any and all suggestions will be much appreciated.

Hi, I am writing hoping maybe you can help, you seem to know a lot about this school pay stuff. :) I have been trying for years to get a straight answer from the payroll secretary- Brooklyn- fellow colleagues and no one seems to know.
Do you know what credits can be used for 30 and above the Masters?
I know you can take P courses as well as regular courses from a college which are about $500 a credit. I’ve also heard you can take a CLEP test to get credit (is this in anything?- even if its not related to your field?) Do they have to be graduate or can they be undergrad? As you can see, I am confused and hoping you have an idea. If you don’t, I appreciate your blog anyway- it’s chock full of interesting info. Thank you for your time

I am searching for teacher pay scales in Kentucky school districts?

Here’s my link to one: Louisville. You’ll have to search for others.

try different combinations of +[town name] +”teacher pay” +”teacher salary” +”teacher contract” +”education association”

It is sometimes a big pain.

Hi, I’m in California looking to move out to NYstate. It feels overwhelming trying to figure out what areas in upstate NY is a good place to work. A couple of things that would probably help me is if you have any suggestions/opinions on the different areas the state is divided into (i.e, Lower Hudson, Central.. etc… what are these places like?) . And two, a way to find salary schedules for these different districts.

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

This site (The NJ Public Relations Employment Commission) seems to have the contract and salary schedule for every district in New Jersey. You have to dig around a little, and at least one (Englewood) is out of date. Not that I’m (ahem) looking…
