That’s right, Carnival o’ Math is just 17.

    30 minutes after reading my RSS feed, I finally figured out why “I Saw Her Standing There” is still running through my head. I guess that’s what I get for reading too quickly!

    b-but “way beyond compare” *makes no sense* …

    one is *comparing* something that’s supposedly *beyond* that
    to some other thing that’s, say, only *slightly* beyond compare …
    gaaah!

    this has been bothering me on and off since the sixties;
    thanks for this opportunity to get it off my chest.

    There’s a pattern. Poetic. But none of them hold up well to close examination.
